Spice Up with Spices

The unceasing love for spices runs in my blood.Growing up in the spice center of the world, spices were vital part of our everyday meals.Breakfast or dinner, soups or sides, spices were a delight.
Spices are very low in Cholesterol and Sodium.Good source of Riboflavin, Niacin, Iron, Magnesium and Potassium, and a very good source of Dietary Fiber, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E (Alpha Tocopherol), Vitamin K, Vitamin B6 and Manganese.
Chili peppers and jalapenos contain a chemical, capsaicin, which may neutralize certain cancer-causing substances (nitrosamines) and may help prevent cancers such as stomach cancer.
Stock up your pantry with spices both powdered and whole in tight containers to seal they flavor. And get wild about using them in your recipes.
The best place to find all of the above spices in an Indian or Pakistani Grocery store. Usually also available in other Asian,Middle Eastern or Mediterranean store.
